Huhule Island, bette
r known as "Airport Island" is where international flights to the Maldives arrive. Transfer to the resort islands is by boat or seaplane. The capital, Male', is a short 15 minute boat ride. For expats and visitors staying on Male', the airport hotel on Huhule is the closest bar to town and the hotel runs regular free boats to Male' and will let travellers with late departures store their bags.
